While this pattern says it is for a DK weight yarn, the original yarn (Embrace DK) had a very fluffy texture - if you would like a similarly fluffy finish, you may find more success with the yarn Drops Melody.

Arrowhead Lace Shawl and Scarves use 4.50mm needles, if you are using a not-fluffy yarn we recommend a DK or Worsted depending on how dense you want the fabric.

Lace and Garter Stitch Shawls use 6.00mm needles, if you are using a not-fluffy yarn we recommend a Worsted or Chunky depending on how dense you want the fabric.
