Shipping Delays
On November 15, 2024 the Canadian Union of Postal Workers started a national strike. Canada Post operations have shut down for the duration of this strike. When operations resume, parcels in transit will be delivered as quickly as possible.
True North Yarn Co. will continue to process and ship new orders through alternative courier services for the duration of the CUPW Strike, however all shipments/deliveries are expected to experience delays.
Since True North Yarn Co. typically ships exclusively through Canada Post, delivery delays can be expected for shipped orders, both new and currently in-transit.
- Orders shipped prior to November 15th will experience delivery delays for the duration of the strike.
- Orders shipped during the duration of the strike will be processed via an alternative courier. Please note, these parcels are also expected to experience delays as the courier will be processing a much higher volume of parcels than normal. Most new orders will be processed and shipped in 2-4 business days. Delivery times will vary.
*Please note, we can not ship to PO Boxes via courier
Delays due to postal service and courier disruptions are outside of our control. True North Yarn Co is not responsible for any late parcel deliveries.
If you do not wish to have your order shipped via courier service, please leave a note in the comment section at check-out to hold your order until regular Canada Post service resumes.
