Developed to be an alternative to fluffy mohair yarns used in double-stranded projects, SandnesGarn has not defined Alpakka Følgetråd as a specific weight of yarn, but by all metrics it is laceweight. Made of 100% Alpaca sourced from Peru & Bolivia, it is soft but does not have a brushed texture.
