Designed for Hayfield Bonus Chunky Tweed in two contrasting colours to give a colourblock effect. Uses 5.50mm/US9 needles. Hat is knit flat with one seam at the back.

Scarf recommends two 100g balls of each of the two colours.

Hat recommends one 100g ball of each of the two colours.

Keep in mind the pattern does not advise how much of the balls each project uses - it is possible that you could do the hat out of the scarf quantity and only have to sacrifice an inch or two of scarf length!
