HiyaHiya Interchangeable Single Point Adapter Set

HiyaHiya's interchangeable single point adapter set allows you to turn their interchangeable tips (bamboo, steel, or sharp steel) into 'straight' or single-pointed needles. It is also useful for knitters looking to make EXTRA long circular tips as it includes multiple tip extenders, but these are available for purchase separately. Tips are not included - these set is intended as an add-on for knitters who have already purchased, or are purchasing, an interchangeable needle tip set.

Each set includes;

• Two 4" tip extenders
• Two 2" tip extenders
• Two 4" single-point adapters
• Two end stoppers (glass bead style for Sock and Small, Panda style for Large. If you are looking for a specific colour of glass bead please reach out to us before ordering as we receive a random mix with every order)

Examples of different lengths you can build;

• 4" tip + 4" adapter + end stopper = 8" straight
• 4" tip + 2" extender + 4" adapter + end stopper = 10" straight
• 4" tip + 4" extender + 2" extender + 4" adapter + end stopper = 14" straight
• 5" tip + 4" adapter + end stopper = 9" straight
• 5" tip + 2" extender + 4" adapter + end stopper = 11" straight
• 5" tip + 4" extender + 2" extender + 4" adapter + end stopper = 15" straight

You can use tip adapters (available for purchase separately) to make an adapter kit work with larger needles. The 'Sock' size will work with needle tips 2.50mm and smaller, but you can purchase Sock/Small tip adapters that can be added to tips 2.75mm - 5.00mm so they will fit Sock gauge cables and extenders. The 'Small' size will work with needle tips 2.75mm - 5.00mm, but you can purchase Small/Large tip adapters that can be added to tips 5.50mm and larger so they will fit Small gauge cables and extenders. The 'Large' size will only work with tips 5.50mm and larger.
