Opal Yarns Hundertwasser 4 Ply

From bright to dark-colored - the wide array of patterns in these collections leave nothing to be desired. Opal has released four different Hundertwasser-inspired collections over the years, and the yarns included her are a mix of what is available to us to order from the third and fourth collections.

Friedrich Stowasser, better known by his pseudonym Friedensreich Regentag Dunkelbunt Hundertwasser, was an Austrian-born New Zealand visual artist and architect who was passionate about environmental activism. Despite passing away in 2000, we like to think he would be very pleased with all of the funky, sustainable socks knitters are making, from colours inspired by his paintings!
