Gauge: Royal II is a fluffy, brushed texture - if you look at it's centre 'core' strand, it is very fine, but the loft and breadth of its 'fluff' is much wider. Due to this, it can be used to make a wide variety of fabric densities depending on how tight or loose you want to knit it - the looser you knit it, the more room you give the fluff to spread out and fill the space. Treat it like a chunky, at 13-15 stitches to 4" on ~6.50mm needles, it will be very light, airy, and fluffy. Treat like a Worsted or finer, it will be denser, still soft, but more solid.
