Drops Nord

Spun as a traditional 4-strands sock yarn, DROPS Nord is made in a combination of 45% superfine alpaca (for the softness), 25% Peruvian Highland wool (for the warm and shape stability) and 30% polyamide (for the strength and durability). 

An easy to knit/crochet yarn, that gives clear stitches and that is perfect for warm, everyday garments, like jumpers, socks, hats, gloves and much more!

Available in a range of beautiful colours that are perfect for Nordic/stranded patterns, DROPS Nord is part of DROPS' Yarn Group A and works well for patterns designed for DROPS Alpaca, Baby Merino, Fabel and Flora.

Made in Peru, please note that the high Superfine Alpaca content makes this yarn recommended hand wash only! We have successfully machine washed and dried socks made from Nord, but this very much depends on how delicate your washing machine is.
