During the manufacturing process, the thread is combed, singed by flame, and then double mercerized. It is the double mercerizing which gives it its brilliance and strength.

Can be machine washed at 95°, Can tolerate bleach, tumble dry on low, iron on 3. Can be dry cleaned without trichloroethylene.
