Plastic-coated steel cord, plastic (high performance synthetic material) tips.

The size is printed on the needle shaft but in our experience does wear off over time/use.

The tips have a unique 'drop' shape, that Prym calls a hook shape or click head, that is meant to help accurately 'catch' stitches as you knit as well as preventing dropped stitches. The triangular-shaped shank (morphing body) helps the stitches to glide smoothly and contributes to an ergonomic grip.
