Pattern recommends 7 balls of Ella Rae Silky Kid, a laceweight mohair/silk blend that is 200m per 25g ball. SandnesGarn Tynn Mohair Silk would make an excellent substitute. You could also substitute 10 balls of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk for a more cost effective option (as the alpaca is replacing the mohair aspect)
